Welcome to English Discussion Club (Monday's session)!"

I'm Fumi Sugimura, a second-year master's student at the Graduate School of Letters, Department of Contemporary History. Just remember me as Fumi. 

Besides spending three days in the UK, I have never studied in Anglophone countries.

After I got into Kyoto University, I gradually improved my conversation and discussion skills in English by taking many E2 courses and through tutoring sessions with international students. 

The first session of Monday's club will be held on June 20th, during lunchtime via Zoom. 

Please feel free to join, even if you cannot stay until the end.

The topic of discussion/conversation will be “What Are the Best Ways to Learn Foreign Languages during Covid-19?"

After a short self-introduction, we'll share our experiences and tips on learning English and other languages during the pandemic. 

If you are very fluent in English (or are a native English speaker), please help the other participants and me with your advice.

And if you don't yet feel comfortable expressing yourself in English, please participate in the discussion/conversation at your pace.

Just be yourself and enjoy the session!
