　講演概要：この講演では、第二言語ライティング専門家が、AI時代における学術的な執筆と出版の本質について論じます。まず、「人間」と「テクノロジー」の間にある誤ったイメージを整理し、学術的リテラシーをAIによって拡張されるものとして捉え直すことを提案します。また、高等教育における知識生産の本質を考察し、AIの活用によってどのような知的機能が支援されるかや、その方法について検討します。講演終盤では、学術的な執筆と出版におけるAI活用に関するさまざまな問題と課題について、インタラクティブなディスカッションとデモンストレーションを行います。

Lecture Overview:

In this lecture, an experienced researcher of second language writing and mentor of doctoral students and junior researchers will discuss the nature of scholarly writing and publication in the age of AI. He will begin by challenging the false binary between human and technology and propose a view of academic literacy as AI augmented. He will then discuss the nature of knowledge production in higher education and examine what intellectual functions can be facilitated by the use of AI and how. The lecture will conclude with an interactive discussion and demonstration of various issues and challenges in AI use for scholarly writing and publishing.
